Cargo delivery guidelines

Size & weight limits

Weight and size guidelines help ensure safe delivery and fair matching.

RYDR Cargo (Bike): Small, lightweight items up to approximately 10 kg, suitable for bike transport.
RYDR Cargo X (Car): Larger items up to approximately 40 kg, fitting inside a car trunk or back seat.
Items must not obstruct driver visibility or safe vehicle operation.
Final acceptance is at the driver’s discretion based on safety.

Delivery distance limits

Cargo deliveries are intended for local, same-day movement.

RYDR Cargo (Bike): Up to approximately 6 km.
RYDR Cargo X (Car): Up to approximately 30 km.
Long-distance or freight-style deliveries are coming soon.

Restricted items

The following items are not permitted on RYDR Cargo or Cargo X:

Prepared food, groceries, or temperature-controlled items (handled separately through RYDR GO)
Alcohol, tobacco, or controlled substances
Hazardous, flammable, or illegal goods
Cash, valuables, or sensitive documents
Live animals or perishable items

Packaging requirements

All items must be ready for transport before pickup.

Items must be securely boxed, bagged, or sealed.
Loose, leaking, or improperly packed items may be refused.
RYDR is not responsible for damage caused by inadequate packaging.

Cancellations & fees

Fees depend on the delivery stage:

No fee if cancelled before a driver accepts.
A partial fee may apply once a driver has accepted.
A base fee may apply if the driver has arrived at pickup.

Driver inspection & refusal policy

Drivers inspect items at pickup for safety and accuracy.

If an item does not match the request details, the driver may refuse delivery.
If an item exceeds size, weight, or safety guidelines, the delivery may be cancelled.
Refusals are recorded as “Item not as described” to protect both customer and driver.
