Does my plan include calls or SMS?
RYDR Connect eSIM plans are data-only. Use apps like WhatsApp, FaceTime, Messenger, or Telegram for calls and messages.
How do I know if my phone supports eSIM?
The fastest way is to dial *#06#. If you see an EID number, your device supports eSIM.

You can also check in Settings for Add eSIM or Add Mobile Plan.
I bought the eSIM on the same phone I’m activating on. What do I do?
This is normal. You have three options:
  • Use Scan from Image (if supported by your phone)
  • Open the QR code on another screen (laptop or tablet)
  • Contact support for manual activation details
Can I reuse the same QR code?
No. eSIM QR codes are single-use per device. If the eSIM is removed from your phone, a new eSIM is required.
My eSIM is installed but I have no data
Make sure your eSIM line is enabled and selected for mobile data:
  • Turn ON the eSIM line
  • Enable Mobile Data on the eSIM
  • Restart your phone and wait 1–2 minutes
I don’t see “Add eSIM” in my settings
Your device may not support eSIM or may be a region-specific variant. Dial *#06# — if there is no EID, the device is not eSIM-capable.
When should I activate my eSIM?
Install your eSIM before traveling, but activate mobile data once you arrive at your destination to avoid unnecessary data usage.
Will removing my physical SIM affect my number?
No. Your physical SIM remains unchanged. RYDR Connect uses a separate digital eSIM for data only.
What happens if I delete my eSIM?
Deleted eSIMs cannot be recovered. If removed, a new eSIM must be purchased.
